Analog Bags was born out of a deep belief that we, as women, so often don’t take the time to encourage and give life to the creativity and the gifts that we have inside of us.
Our curated Analog Bags are bags filled with life-giving tools to remind each of us that we are worth more.
Worth more than always filling other’s cups while ours is empty,
Worth more than being buried under the needs of others and
Worth more than spending our free time either scrolling or wandering the aisles of Target not knowing what to do.
For so many years the creativity that lived inside of me, the gifts and talents that I had been given, lay dormant, buried deeply under busyness, work, babies, hardships, ministry and a lack of confidence.
More than that though, was the underlying belief that I couldn't, or shouldn't be those things because there was always more important things to do. After giving birth to my daughter, something broke inside of me and began a shift that would take several years to unfurl. It was the belief that I was worth more.
I was worth more than what I had been given but also what I had given myself. I took a step and signed up for a watercolor class. It unlocked something in me and I began to paint again. As I began to give myself more license and space to be creative in my own life, I continued to be in conversations with other women who were feeling guilty for doing anything for themselves, or even, not knowing where to start. I wanted to create tools and a safe space where women can grow in their creativity and take time for themselves and champion and uplift one another while doing it.
